SPONSOR/EDUCATE A CHILD
As the saying goes, education is the key to success. When a child gets good education then the doors for a better future are open. Most of the children mostly in underprivileged families are struggling to attend or go to school. They can’t afford not only school fees but also scholastic materials and apart from that not even a school uniform which is a school requirement. In our project campaign of EDUCATE A CHILD we are raising awareness, collecting funds for their education fees. We are seeking donors and funders through different means that include scholarships, bursaries, and direct sponsorship of a child to mention but a few. Among the 125 children in our organization, seventy plus children are in dire need of education help. We are calling you upon, to help us to take these children to school through different ways of contributions.
GIRL CHILD SANITARY WEAR
In our organization we have a number of adolescent girls who are disadvantaged to meet their needs as girls. With all discomfort they find at school in their menstrual period times they end up skipping days of school during these moments. We are currently running a project campaign calling upon all concerned well-wishers, funders, donors to help us raise funds or be it in materialistic items so that we stock up sanitary
pads to provide to these girls on a timely period basis.
FOOD SECURITY/FEED A CHILD
We are apparently in need of individuals, companies, organizations and groups willing to offer food support to our organization on monthly basis. There is a big difference in the lives of these of these underprivileged where they can’t go a day minus missing a meal.
We provide every member with a daily meal and fresh filtered water to nourish our young people’s bodies and minds so that we can ensure they are healthy in all aspects of human life.
SHELTER A CHILD
Many children in Uganda are sleeping on streets because they are homeless due to un avoids circumstances such as being orphaned, being on rampage running away from home violence and mistreatment plus many refugees without any family support. We have been in touch with many organizations and charities to help us move these children off the street unfortunately the response are very slow. We have not yet received a positive actionable reaction from venous groups we have contacted but still we will keep on pushing until we make it, In the near future we plan to build a spacious foster home where we can permanently accommodate these children. We are apparently hiring a temporary building where fractures are hostels where children get free shelter for a stipulated time.
CLOTHE A CHILD
Many children in Uganda can’t afford a single shirt or dress in two year and they end up moving around in rugs. Do you know what this means to a child loss of self-esteem, stigma and loss of self-confidence. These kids end up in wrong schemes ending up in danger and bad behaviors yet they feel they want to look better like other children they meet across. We decided to lobby for well-wishers to donate old or new clothes so that we can provide for the needy children. On a good point it has not been a flawless campaign as many individuals have managed to donate to the cause of our project however the need is still very high and arises each and every day.
HELP A CHILD
We noticed that whenever we went for community home visiting only to find out that a lot of families are having children with disabilities. Most families in communities of Kampala city suburbs and the entire Uganda at large are low income earners with children with disabilities. Some of these children are kids with special needs whereas others are children with birth defects while others face mental illness as they grow up. These children most of them are not supported by their families due to financial restraints, while others are neglected because family members lack knowledge of how to take care of them. We are currently having fifteen children that need urgent treatment and special care. We are always looking for financial support to take these children for treatment and the children with
special needs need special care and life support utilities.
GROOM A TALENT
We extract new talents almost every day from different communities in Uganda. These talents need to be developed and exposed to the World in order to create opportunities and open doors. We are apparently in need of donors for this program, we need juggling props, music instruments, costumes and skills. We host practices everyday for our talented children to have fun as well as learning and enjoying being kids.
